After turning pro in late 2007, The 'Wavertree Bomber' has remained undefeated with an impressive K.O. ratio and looks destined for great things within boxing. He is currently managed and promoted by Frank Warren.
Born and raised in the Wavertree area of Liverpool, 'Bomber' is a keen and passionate Evertonian who never has the club far from his side, having the Royal Blue colours and Everton badge emblazoned across his kit, as well as entering the ring to the theme of Z Cars.

Tony Bellew makes a succesful first defence of his Commonwealth Title at the Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, London on 24th September, with a unanimous points victory over Bob Ajisafe .
Tony 'The Bomber' Bellew wins the Commonwealth Light Heavyweight title on the under card of the Smith v Dodson fight in his hometown of Liverpool.
The Bomber secured his first belt with a comprehensive victory over previously unbeaten Ghanaian Atoli Moore. The 'Deadly Spear' was no match for the unbeaten Bellew, the referee deemed Moore was unfit to continue in the 1st round after a series of ferocious punches from Bellew.
